I first stayed at Sadaf 8 when I arrived in Dubai. I’d read the complaints about security, and I can’t say how those reviewers dealt with the guards, but here’s how I see it. They’re doing their jobs. If you follow the check-in and documentation process, there shouldn’t be an issue. I’ve seen people enter without access cards, then shout at and belittle the guards. They’re only asking for identification, and if you’re new to Dubai, don’t misread their tone. If you live in Sadaf 8 or another Sadaf tower, your landlord should have issued you an access card. Even for Airbnb or holiday rooms, they’ll provide a copy, so you can come and go without trouble. Treat the guards with respect, and don’t act like you’re above them. If you do, maybe find somewhere else, go to Palm Jumeirah and see whether you can find guards who aren’t doing their jobs. In my opinion, Sadaf JBR is safe, well maintained, and a very good community to live in. Sure, there are some issues. You can’t find heaven on earth.

Sharing apartments aren’t allowed in this building, so security won’t let people in. Be careful of internet scammers. This building doesn’t allow sharing.

My apartment is big and the location is fantastic, but I could never recommend this building because of my experience at the main gates. The security inside the building is fine. At the main entrance, though, they were rude and unprofessional. I’m a resident, so why treat me like a prisoner? The security company should be replaced. I can see I’m not the only one having problems with security. It’s a shame.

I’ve lived in different JBR buildings for almost four years and never had problems like this. At Sadaf 8, the guards are so rude and act as if they own the apartment. There are constant access card issues, and every morning there’s noise from a neighboring apartment, like someone opening fabric furniture. That’s my experience. If you want a better stay, don’t come to Sadaf 8, especially this building.
