Galaxy Star Hotel L.L.C

We stayed here once in August 2025 and returned for a second visit in October 2025. On that second stay, we found bed bugs and cockroaches, which made nighttime scary. We reported the bugs to reception, and the hotel needs pest control. The receptionists and staff are good, and the old building has recently been renovated, but it still needs maintenance, especially pest control. It’s a one-star hotel in a very busy area, with no parking of its own, and finding a space is difficult. Breakfast isn’t a buffet: the menu is fixed and limited, delivered to the room, and according to the hotel is only available after 8:30am.

The neighborhood is crowded and noisy, but it works well for business and shopping. The room was good and clean, the price felt fair for what you get, and the people were friendly, helpful, and polite. A very good choice for the price.

A terrible experience. The place smelled awful from the entrance all the way to the room, and there was no cleaning done. Even the sheets were dirty. The staff were disrespectful and didn’t speak politely, and seemed poorly trained. The mismanagement was at its worst, and nothing matched what the reviews had described.

The friendliness and sincerity of the staff are why I’m giving this five stars. The receptionist and the staff who came each day to check on cleaning were pleasant and welcoming, and I recommend the hotel because of their kindness. The location and the building’s features feel equivalent to a three-star hotel. It definitely isn’t a five-star property, and it has a very distinct smell that I think is unique to the area. I wasn’t very satisfied with the cleanliness either.
