The manager, zaynab, was confrontational and unwilling to work with us on any problems. I wanted to give a budget place a chance, but the price was far too high for what was provided. The room wasn't very clean, there were no basic amenities, and my unit had no air conditioning, so it stayed hot. There was also no flexibility on late checkout. I'd call it a one-star hotel, maybe two at most. Better hotels are available nearby.

The main advantage is the location, within walking distance of the Gold Souq and handy for anyone wanting to stay near it for shopping. The hotel itself isn't anything special, but it works for a pleasant, quick stay.

The room was unbearably hot, and the towel wasn't good. When I opened the fridge, there was leftover food that smelled so bad I had to call for someone to remove it. Nobody cleaned the room. I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone 😪

The hotel was easy to reach from the market, and the location was great. The staff were helpful, service was good, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi was fast.

When I called before booking, we agreed on 200 dirhams. After checking in, I decided to cut my trip short and leave after three days. They charged me 20 dirhams extra, saying the 200 rate applied only if I stayed more than five days, and that a three-day stay cost 20 dirhams more. They were also very rude to customers. While we were arguing, another guest checking out asked to take a quick shower because he was travelling that night. A young man at reception insulted him badly, and he left right away. The hotel is very old. The furniture looks like it may have been in use for nearly 15 years without being replaced, and there were no good towels in the bathroom. Be careful before booking. The place was horrible, and in my opinion didn't deserve even one star.
