Grand Belle Vue Hotel

Lunch here was a treat, and I’d recommend the restaurant to friends and family. The buffet food was exceptional, and I got to meet Chef Mahmoud and tell him so in person. Nalyn Ahmad was also very kind and attentive.

I was in room 1217, and it was one of my worst hotel stays. The service was terrible, and the staff seemed completely unprofessional and unable to deal with clients properly. They also kept trying to charge extra fees for things that don’t even exist. I’d never recommend the place. Stay away if you want to avoid needless stress during your stay.

I stayed for a month, and housekeeping cleaned the room twice a week without mentioning any issues. Then at checkout, they suddenly blamed me for “carpet stains” and took a huge amount from my security deposit. Nobody had raised this with me before, so it feels like an excuse to keep the money. A very disappointing and stressful experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for a long stay.

I can’t recommend this place, with the room and food problems, closed amenities, and unprofessional treatment at the entrance. The building also felt uncomfortable for reasons beyond the usual issues. Some areas seemed to be used for things unrelated to hospitality, and the recreation room was supposedly closed for “storage,” though it was obvious to me they were using it for something else.
