Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District Hotel

The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of delicious choices, and the chefs and support staff kept everything fresh and well managed. The rooms were classy, spacious, and extremely comfortable; special thanks to the housekeeping team, especially Binatha and Yuktha, for top-notch service. We had one of our best hotel experiences at Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District. Though it’s a 4-star property, the service felt like 5-star. Before arriving, I asked for a better view and early check-in, and the reception team arranged a beautiful view and let us check in early. Everyone from reception to housekeeping was warm and professional. Thank you for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely return!

The room had several issues: the AC didn’t work properly, the phone was out of order, and there was no amenities kit. We were also charged separately for slippers. When we reported the problems to reception three times, no one came to help, so we had to call and follow up repeatedly. The staff weren’t welcoming, and most didn’t even smile or make an effort to help guests feel comfortable. Customer service was poor and showed little concern for our problems. Overall, the service and facilities fell short of what I expect from a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they make significant improvements.

For daily needs, there’s an exchange place about a 2-minute walk away and a mall right across the road, less than 2 minutes on foot. A mosque is next door, convenient for prayers. The location is a big plus, and the quieter residential setting makes it practical for families or longer stays. I stayed at Hyatt Place Dubai Wasl District Residences and found a good balance of comfort and convenience. My room was spacious, modern, and well equipped, with a kitchenette, iron and iron board, dishwasher, fridge, and a balcony with an amazing view. It felt more like a serviced apartment than a typical hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping was consistent. Staff were friendly and helpful with requests and directions, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The pool and gym were nice additions, though neither was very large. Both were clean and pleasant for a quick workout or some relaxation. I’d rate the place highly for value, comfort, and practicality, for short or extended stays.

I’ll return to this hotel because the staff made the stay so good. We’d lost our money and my wife and I were very stressed. The lounge manager, whose name I wish I knew, and two security members helped us find it with advice and empathy. When it turned up, I could see how happy they were, and their response felt like friendship and kinship. Everything else was good too, especially the staff’s attitude. As an HR specialist, I know that having various features and items is an advantage, but the most important thing is how staff behave. At Hyatt place Vasal, Ms. Vashali tried to get me a good room at check-in and succeeded. You can expect that kind of attitude from the hyatt brand.
