What stayed with us most was how helpful the hosts were, even after check-out. They made us feel at home in Egypt, and we genuinely felt they became our family there. The apartment in New Cairo is opposite a supermarket, and the host and co-host were kind, friendly, and supportive throughout. They shared useful local advice on places to visit and getting around Cairo, welcomed us warmly, and accommodated our late check-out. They also arranged a taxi to Alexandria and explained everything to the driver to help the trip go smoothly. We had a great stay.

The receptionist was very rude and didn’t look after guests properly. The service was very, very bad. If you want, take the room, if you don’t, don’t. Nobody should stay here. Please don’t hire employees like this, or at least tell them to treat guests properly.

The receptionist named lucky gave me incorrect information on the call and wasn’t courteous. Her response felt unprofessional and unhelpful. I had a poor experience and hope this gets looked into and addressed appropriately.

The hotel had shut down in November 2025, but I came to check in on 24th December 2025 and found it closed. I had a booking that had already charged me, and they didn’t bother to let me know beforehand.

The hotel may have strengths, but the customer service left a sour taste. I went to Jonrad in an emergency and politely asked receptionist Sarfaraz if I could use the washroom. He flatly refused, with no empathy or understanding. I expect courtesy and respect from hotel staff, and that response felt unprofessional and inhumane. Refusing someone access to a washroom in an emergency is unacceptable. I hope management acts quickly, apologizes for the staff member’s behavior, and makes sure guests are treated with respect and dignity.
