The security staff member's aggressive, disrespectful manner made a bad situation worse instead of sorting it out. I found his behavior rude and unacceptable. Management should hire security staff who are trained, educated, and know how to speak respectfully, because this kind of conduct hurts the place's reputation.
I enjoy living in this apartment tower. The public spaces are kept neat and clean, and the concierge, security, and maintenance teams are polite and go out of their way to help. It's also conveniently placed for everything Dubai Marina has to offer.
At about 2 AM, during an inspection, Security Supervisor Bilal would not let us into the apartment. He said the unit was registered to another company and asked for a unit permit, even though we'd already supplied it and completed registration on the Emaar portal. We had also submitted the DTCM permit and registration, landlord-signed NOC, Emirates ID, guest check-in details, and our listing and management authorization. Bilal kept asking for the permit and would not review documents already sent through the portal and left at reception. I’m writing for Werova Holiday Homes, which has managed al mesk apartment since December . We take care of cleaning, guest check-in and check-out, inspections, and general property operations. If our company details weren’t updated in the system, it’s hard to understand how cleaning teams and guest arrivals are being allowed. This seems like an internal record update problem, not a compliance issue on our end. The landlord pays management fees for full operations, yet Emaar/Transguard security made access needlessly difficult in the middle of the night and wouldn’t check our paperwork. We can provide all the supporting documents and proof if requested.
The security staff spoke to people with no manners. It was a really bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend going there. I hope they can manage this with more professional staff.
There's a lovely community at this one of the emaar 6 towers on dubai marina walk, with lots for kids and plenty of facilities: six pools, including a lap pool, a gym, three outdoor playgrounds, and one indoors. The spa that used to be there has unfortunately closed. You can also enjoy the walking areas, trees, and beautiful marina views right out front. Downstairs there are restaurants, pharmacies, clinics, bars, hotels, kids' entertainment, classes, and paid indoor playgrounds. It's a wonderful place to live, with a nice mix of expats.
