The apartments are really spacious, and the views are amazing whichever way you look. It’s an amazing location for families with kids, too: there’s direct underground access to Nakheel mall, so you don’t have to cross roads. That’s especially helpful in Dubai’s hot months.

The apartments have nice layouts, and some come with excellent views. The building itself could be really nice, but the marina residence buildings are so badly managed that it’s embarrassing. Any real estate company would tell you the same. The corridors are poorly lit, with bulbs left unreplaced, and garbage smells linger on the floors two or three days a week because it isn’t cleared promptly. There are empty plant pots, broken steps, and damaged, scratched elevators that only get cleaned once a week. The water features are empty and damaged, and the poolside sunbeds and cushions are extremely old and worn out. In summer, the pool water isn’t chilled, so it feels like a bath. It seems they avoid spending even the smallest amount on anything. The problems keep adding up, and it’s a real shame because the building has the potential to be very nice.

Living here is really nice. There’s direct access to Nakheel mall, and the place is pet friendly. The swimming pool is clean and good, there’s a health club and an indoor play area for kids, and the marina is quick to reach.

I visited marina residence 1 plam jumara today and had a bad experience with the receptionist. The guy was very rude and insulting toward me. I’d give this place 0% for that. 💔
