Meliá Desert Palm Hotel

It was such a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful getaway, and the service was remarkably quick and efficient, never taking more than three minutes. Mr. Zaw gave us a lovely tour of the whole place and was warm and classy in his hospitality. Mr. Fayaz and Mr. Mohammed also made check-in and check-out fast and easy. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the stay was unforgettable.

The facilities were clean and in good shape, with a steam room, sauna, ice room, cold shower, and small cold plunge. It’s a limited space, though, and I think more than five to ten people would make it feel crowded. The pool is modest but fine for relaxing, and the massage worked for general unwinding rather than deeper or focused muscle treatment. I liked the quiet weekday atmosphere and the welcome drink and cold towel. Registration could be handled online to make arrival easier. The relaxation room was comfortable, with a hot drink and nuts afterward, though noise from a nearby kitchen sometimes interrupted the calm. Service and cleanliness were solid, but I wouldn’t return or go out of my way to recommend it.

Mr. Abdulla’s hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. We spent two nights in a beautiful resort, staying in an exceptional two-bedroom villa with plenty of space and a large private swimming pool.

The staff treated us with real hospitality, and the pool, bars, restaurants, and shared relaxation spaces made a lovely start to our adventures. This secluded resort is a long way from downtown Dubai’s bustle, with beautiful facilities and a spectacular view over the polo grounds and their surrounding highlights. Superb quality throughout.
