Millennium Place Marina

The gym was okay, but very small, with hardly any equipment beyond some dumbbells and a treadmill. It’s mostly geared toward cardio. A cable machine for multiple exercises would be a good addition. Staff were lovely and welcoming, always greeting me with smiles and helping whenever I needed it. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had basically everything you’d need, with high-quality room and bathroom finishes. Having a cafe downstairs, a metro station within walking distance, and a supermarket next door was really convenient. One day, housekeeping hadn’t been to my room by 4:30 pm. A housekeeper said only two people were working and they’d been going nonstop since morning. I wasn’t even on the highest floor, so they still had plenty of rooms to cover. I’d recommend Millennium Place Marina for a stay.

Malik at the concierge desk arranged taxis and trips, and even matched Uber prices, so we knew we were getting a fair deal. The housekeeping staff were amazing too. Breakfast was busy, but the food was constantly restocked and there was a great variety. On our sister and mother trip, we were delighted to find our room had been upgraded, and the rooms were absolutely beautiful. The location was amazing, with a leisurely 10-minute walk to the marina, its restaurants, beautiful views, and the lovely marina mall. The metro was close by as a cheaper option when traffic made taxis slow. The pool could use more sunbeds for the number of hotel guests, though it didn’t bother us since we were busy on day trips. The lifts were also quite slow and often full when the hotel was busy, but those were minor things. Honestly, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

For our first visit to Dubai, we’re glad we chose The Millennium. It was centrally located, beautiful, and had excellent food and customer service. Guest services really looked after us. Edwin and Subash knew how to make guests comfortable, and when I told Subash we were there to get married, he made sure our room was nicely decorated after the wedding. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it!

The pool schedule was my main concern. It closes at 6:00 PM, which feels far too early in summer. We planned to swim around 5:30 PM, but it had already closed. Other hotels often keep pools open until 8:30 PM or 9:00 PM so guests can use them after the hottest part of the day. I think the hotel should reconsider its hours. I stayed at Millennium place Marina with my husband and friends. Breakfast was average and didn’t meet our expectations, and overall I wasn’t satisfied with the service and facilities.
