Omega Hotel Dubai

I booked six days, so this is my genuine experience. First, don’t choose the breakfast. It was the worst I’ve ever had, and at 50 AED, you can get a good breakfast at nearby restaurants instead. The hotel also isn’t close to the metro. They say it’s walking distance, but when you walk it, it’s about 800 meters to 1 kilometer. That part can be managed. I booked for three people, but they gave us a standard room with space for two and put the third person in there too. We had to manage in that small room for all six days. Reception said I’d selected a standard-size room and should have chosen a larger one for three people. If the standard room doesn’t fit three, they shouldn’t accept the booking. They could also have offered a complimentary upgrade, especially since we visited in the off season, but they offered nothing. Worst experience ever. I’ll never visit this hotel again.

We had a great stay for at least a week. The breakfast had good variety and tasted osum, and the kids loved all the meals. Staff were very polite, helpful, and available whenever we called. Mr. Pratap was really good and provided us with an excellent room. I’d most recommend this hotel for a happy stay with kids and family.

For three adults, the room they gave us was far too small, and the cot kept shaking. I had paid in advance for five nights. They call this a four-star property, but to me it felt like a two-star place. I wouldn't book here again in my life.

The room was spacious, and the staff were polite and helpful. I was travelling for business and, although I booked a standard room, the lower-category rooms were full, so the front desk upgraded me to a suite at no charge. There aren't many restaurants nearby, though. We had to take a cab to the city centre or walk at least 10 minutes, but there is a convenience store close by. I'd probably stay again.
