Pearl Executive Hotel Apartments

The smell in the first room was awful, as if the carpet and curtains hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It felt dirty and badly maintained. The second room was a little better, but still wasn’t comfortable or relaxing, and we found cockroaches in both rooms. Someone nearby cooked fish, leaving the whole lobby with a strong, unbearable smell. My family and I felt relieved once we checked out. I’ve never had such a bad hotel experience.

The parking was another problem. My team asked where to leave the car and were told to use the basement. They followed the hotel’s directions, then had to pay 5 AED per hour to exit. When I raised it, the receptionist rudely told me to ask my people where they had parked instead of taking responsibility or speaking politely. I’d booked a quadraplet bedroom for my office team, but staff said the reservation was for only two people and demanded an extra 70 AED per person. I told them I’d come the next morning to settle it, but my team paid 230 AED right away to avoid more trouble. The hotel also kept one of the Emirates IDs even though I’d paid for two nights in advance. The next morning staff kept calling and woke my team repeatedly instead of letting them rest on vacation. When I spoke with the receptionist and manager, both were rude and wouldn’t listen. They just kept insisting the booking was for two people and wouldn’t accept responsibility for how they’d handled it, despite my saying I’d come in the morning to resolve things. The constant calls, the way staff treated us, and the overall mismanagement were unacceptable. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would never recommend it.

The hotel was dirty and unclean, with the same duvets and bedsheets being reused, cracked tiles and more. It fell well short of its claimed 4 star rating during my business stay. Ram/Raam at the front desk made things worse. He strongly vouched for an excursion, saying many guests booked it through him, but the experience was horrendous. Ram’s service was even worse, and he took our money knowing we are British Nationals. Please avoid this hotel and Ram.

The hygiene was poor throughout: the toilet was visibly dirty, and the bedsheets and duvet covers were dirty too, which made the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic. I was also extremely disappointed with receptionist Raam over a desert safari excursion. He overcharged us, refused card payment despite the hotel claiming to be 4-star, and insisted on cash. My friend had to go out at 5am in the morning to withdraw money. That was unprofessional and very inconvenient. I strongly advise guests not to book excursions through the hotel, especially through Raam. Book independently or use a trusted platform such as GetYourGuide to avoid being overcharged or put in an uncomfortable situation.
