The front desk experience was a mess. I had arranged my late check-in online, but apparently the receptionist hadn’t been told. Even though I had all the codes and company texts, she tried to stop me from going to my room. She seemed to be having a bad night and kept making obscene hand gestures when she thought I couldn’t see. Seriously, get new help. I only booked here because I was arriving late and didn’t want to travel any farther while tired. The stay was unpleasant. My single room was closet-sized, with no window and no way to control the airflow, not even a fan. The place seems to have been divided into narrow hallways and tiny rooms, just as other reviews say. The walls look solid but are so thin I could hear someone next door crumpling a plastic bag, then talking on the phone for an hour after midnight. Grrr. There wasn’t a square of toilet paper anywhere, and the bathrooms were gross.

They said the key was “lost” when I arrived at 3 PM, then left me waiting for more than 3 hours. That felt very unprofessional, and the place seemed poorly managed and uncomfortable. The online photos make this look like a proper hotel, but it’s actually a partitioned hostel room with no privacy. The rooms were cramped, noisy, and unclean, nothing like the pictures. It was extremely misleading. Definitely not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking even basic comfort. Double-check before booking so you don’t end up in the same situation.

The place was very clean, and the balcony view and location were excellent. The team was helpful, especially Mrs.Amal.

The place was dirty throughout, and there were mould stains in our room. We were given a room with no windows, something the pictures didn’t make clear and the description didn’t mention. When we asked for one with a window, the receptionist became very unfriendly and annoyed. The price is the one good thing, though for a few € more you can find much better.

The rooms were freezing, with a shared AC that guests couldn’t control. The blanket they gave us was the thinnest I’ve ever seen, so we slept in all our clothes. We asked for an extra one and didn’t get it. We weren’t given towels either. When we asked, the cleaning lady rolled her eyes and slammed them down at us. The bathrooms were filthy, so we used mall toilets instead. There were three shared toilets for 30 people, never any toilet paper, and no shower curtains. Two showers had no hot water; the one that did had practically no pressure. The whole place was dirty and full of mold. The walls were paper thin, and you could hear everything. Staff were rude, yelling, and extremely unfriendly. You have to leave a 50aed deposit. If you check out early and didn’t ask for it back the night before, you can’t get it because someone doesn’t show up at reception until after 11am. This is clearly an old workers quarter, not a hostel. There are no signs outside, so I doubt it’s even legal. Don’t trust the good reviews. I’m sure the owners and their friends wrote them, because there’s nothing good here. We’re budget travellers and usually accept that you get what you pay for, but this isn’t worth a penny. 30usd a night and not even basic things like toilet paper. Biggest scam of all time. I wouldn’t stay here for free.
