MD Hotel by Gewan

The housekeeping service from Mr. Waqas really stood out during my fantastic stay at MD Hotel. He kept the room immaculate throughout, taking care with everything from the crisp linens to restocking the amenities. He’s friendly, professional, and clearly dedicated to his work. That kind of high quality service is rare, and he’s a huge asset to the hotel team.

This was our second family stay at the hotel, and we had another very good experience. It’s comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Ajay deserves a special thanks for his kindness and excellent service. He prepared the room nicely and was always ready to help with a positive attitude, which made the stay more enjoyable. We appreciate it and would recommend the hotel to others.

We had a car, so the rather average area and lack of places to visit nearby weren’t a problem. Parking was available, which we appreciated. The food was a plus, with good breakfast and enjoyable lunch and dinner, and a decent range of options. We stayed five nights as a family, and there were a few good gestures from the staff, including an upgrade to a suite with a king bed the day after we arrived. We had booked a king bed, but none was available at check-in. The room issues were disappointing, though. Despite advertising as fully renovated, our bathrooms hadn’t been renovated and had drainage problems. For two adults and one child, the room initially had just one face towel, so we had to ask for extra towels every day. The children’s playroom also hadn’t been renovated, and its carpet was dirty and torn, unpleasant especially for kids. At the restaurant, staff kept insisting that we leave five-star reviews in every category, even though I didn’t feel the room deserved that rating. Reviews should reflect the actual experience. There’s good food and staff who make helpful gestures, but the rooms and children’s facilities still need improvement.

I’ve been using the hotel gym for six months, and the service has been amazing. Dev and Nishan, the fitness instructors, are friendly, professional, and really helpful. Vishnu is friendly and hardworking, too. The place is definitely worth the money. Well done to the team and management.
