Royal Falcon Hotel

The room and service were okay for me, despite the reviews. I stayed for 7 days on the 4th floor after specifically requesting an upper floor. The first and second floors have nightclubs, so evenings can be noisy and crowded. My main issue was the A/C controls, which didn’t work properly and left it too cold most of the time. The room wasn’t cleaned properly on day one, but it was from the second day onward. It was cleaned daily, and we got two free water bottles each day. There are good restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and the metro is nearby, with the Red line one station away. Based on all of that, I can give it 4 stars.

I wouldn’t recommend this property for a family stay. In the evenings, the hotel’s cheap nightclub on the 1st floor made the environment feel unsafe for us. We used to hurry straight to our room after entering the hotel. The service was below par, too. Even a basic request to reception could take at least 1 hour, and changing the room’s A/C temperature required calling reception, who took more than 30 min to adjust it.

It’s an okay budget hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. We didn’t hear any noise. The “night clubs” on the bottom floor seemed a bit dodgy, though. We walked in and walked straight back out. It’s near the metro, and there are cafes, restaurants, and everything else you need on the street.

I travel around with my family often, and this was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. The rooms weren’t decent, and water would collect in the bathroom because there wasn’t a proper outlet. The food was terrible, with almost the same menu every day and nothing tasty. The girl maintaining the kitchen was very untidy. She touched the table, floor, used plates, and food to be served with the same hand without washing it. After seeing that, we couldn’t eat there. Breakfast was complimentary, but we had to go out and spend money anyway. The hotel wasn’t maintained properly in any way, and there was no parking. The receptionist, Asif, who is Nepali, behaved very badly and didn’t know how to speak properly with customers or speak good English. I’d suggest everyone avoid staying here.
