Silkhaus O2 Residential Towers

We moved into this building 2 months ago because of its Google reviews score, but 4.7 is waaaay off the mark. Water leaks on nearly every floor, and without being super careful you could fall and hurt your leg or back. The ceiling also seems to come down in the hall every day, so you can only hope it doesn't land on your head. And there are bugs everywhere 🪳🤮 The location is odd, too. Wherever you need to go, it takes an extra 10 min just to get out to the main road. The pool is nice and the gym is fine, but I honestly regret paying for a year here.

More than 12 hours into this building-wide outage, residents are still in the dark, literally and figuratively. We've had no electricity, air conditioning, internet, lighting, or other basic services, right in the middle of the Dubai summer. It affects people's ability to work and live, and even to keep food in their homes. This is a serious issue, not a minor inconvenience. Management has offered no meaningful updates, clear timeline, contingency plan, or support. They haven't taken ownership or communicated with the people paying to live here. Security staff had to face frustrated residents without having any information, while management was largely absent. Outages happen, but total silence from management during a crisis is a choice. The lack of professionalism, urgency, and respect toward tenants has been extremely disappointing. If this is how major emergencies are handled, residents should seriously question the standard of management. This has been one of the worst property management experiences I've witnessed.

I've lived in O2 Tower in JVC for about two months, and wanted to share my own experience after seeing conflicting reviews, including claims that some positive ones come from management. The building is in decent shape, and recent renovations to the AC system and corridors seem to have fixed earlier mold or water leakage issues. Common areas are average in cleanliness, and the general smell throughout the building is pleasant. Security has been average so far, with no major concerns but nothing exceptional either. The outside needs more care. The pavement is damaged and cars often park on it, leaving the area looking untidy and poorly organized. Inside there have been noticeable improvements, but the exterior and surrounding organization could be managed better.
