A busy, high-tech city with an advanced feel. A really excellent, affluent place.

When I was leaving at 05:00 in the morning, a last-minute mix-up over arranging the taxi had me stuck. The man at reception helped sort it out, spoke with the driver for me, and stayed until I left. The girl and the man at the reception in building two were both incredibly helpful. I can't describe how much I appreciated their help. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality in your buildings.

The waterfront views and greenery sound like a big part of Riviera's appeal. It has mid-rise homes ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments, alongside a large integrated retail district. Mediterranean design meets modern architecture here, with a lively boulevard lined with coffee shops, cafes, and shops. The idea is community living for the 21st century, with plenty of amenities right nearby.

The area feels claustrophobic, and the seawater seems to be getting stagnant because circulation is inadequate. It's nowhere near the crystal-clear water shown in the photos, which look photoshopped. I hope I'm wrong.
