Vacation bay Noura Tower

We spent a short weekend at Al Habtoor Palace, and the stay was comfortable. It has a quiet, refined feel, with well-kept common areas and classic luxury style rather than modern minimalism. Our room was spacious and clean, serviced daily, and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was a highlight, with good water pressure and quality amenities. Staff were generally polite and helpful without hovering. Check-in went smoothly, though it took a little longer than expected because it was busy. The location works well for Business Bay and Sheikh Zayed Road, but it's not really a walkable tourist area, so we relied on taxis. Breakfast had a good range, though the selection could rotate more for a stay of several nights. It's a solid, consistent luxury stay, comfortable without being overly flashy.

We came to celebrate my wife's birthday, and I'd contacted the hotel the day before to confirm a cake and special arrangements. They had confirmed, but nothing was ready when we arrived: no cake, no decorations, and no acknowledgment of the occasion. I had also requested a room with a view, but the room we got didn't have it, and no explanation or alternative was offered. Check-in took an extremely long time. After a long wait, receptionist Evans finally checked us in, but was slow, unhelpful and not accommodating. The poor communication and disorganization made a special celebration very disappointing. I expected much better service and attention to detail. This was one of my most disappointing hotel stays, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves guest service.

We went for my dad's birthday, and it turned out to be a great choice. The location was lovely, with lots of room to walk near the creek and space for other physical activities. La Perle, pubs and restaurants are also nearby. From getting out of the car until checkout, the staff were kind and ready to help us feel comfortable. The room felt welcoming as soon as we entered, with warm lighting and a layout that balanced elegance with a comfortable place to rest after a busy day. I only stayed one night, thankfully. I booked Habtoor Palace hoping for a real luxury experience, but left disappointed. There was no damaged bedding I noticed, but the bedsheet was damaged. In my opinion, the hotel needs renovations and upgrades to its facilities and technology to meet luxury standards. I hadn't received a call or message before arrival to confirm my reservation. By 7:00 PM I had to call myself to check that my room hadn't been released. On arrival there were no welcome drinks or special arrival touches, and the reception desk was tucked away in a hard-to-find corner. I waited while a staff member helped someone else. He said he wasn't finished, then immediately served another guest who had just arrived and gave him his key. I waited about 30 minutes before a different staff member completed my check-in. If I had stayed longer, I would've regretted spending my money here. I wouldn't recommend the hotel unless it makes significant improvements and renovations.
