Inn La Galleria

Gregory, the inn keeper, showed that this is a modest, relaxing, and clean place. The view of Deep Bay is fantastic, and we strongly recommend bathing there because even when the wind is strong, it produces almost no waves compared with the nearby beaches. We visited in October 2020 during the off season with our family and one child, and had almost the entire place to ourselves. This is not Caribbean luxury in the material or commercial sense, and the fantastically placed inn would benefit from investment. Still, it is a very good budget choice. Our internet connection was unreliable, so I bought a local SIM card and used Flow instead. We hope to return soon, and wish everyone there a great season.

We cancelled our two-day reservation after seeing the property, even though we lost the money for one night. The building looked like it was falling apart, the entrance was embarrassing, and the place was badly unkempt and very dirty. Bird nests were lodged in the roof, and in less than an hour I was almost eaten alive by mosquitoes. I just wanted to get the hell out. No way.

We had to change rooms because mice had gotten into everything in my drawer, and the other room had roaches too. The towels provided were stained, and we were expected to bring our own sheets. The owner was rude and seemed very focused on money. It may be cheap, but DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Deep Bay looked spectacular from the balcony, almost like a dream, and the sunset views were amazing. The location and scenery really worked together. I enjoyed my stay overall.
