Blue Bay Antigua

Our stay at Blue Bay Antigua became a complete customer-service nightmare. We booked before Coronavirus became widespread, but then Antigua stopped allowing flights. We emailed Cecelia repeatedly about changing the dates or receiving a refund, and she ignored every message. We even called internationally and still couldn't get a response. hotels.com was also unhelpful, though they eventually managed to reach her by phone. She kept the money for our couple of nights, which was a lot because the property is already overpriced. We only recovered the payment through our credit card insurance. I wouldn't recommend this place. If something goes wrong, don't expect a reply or any resolution.

The pool area at night was magical, with clear stars and no light pollution. This is a beautiful place surrounded by nature, with plenty of space, a kitchen, a swimming pool, and a bbq area. Service was very good, and they even provide useful things like soap and sunscreen lotion for free. It could also suit collage students looking for an affordable place to have a party. I really enjoyed staying here.

The pool and its view are excellent, and the room stays comfortable without a/c. The place is great, although the road has lots of pot holes. You don't really need the air conditioning.

Cecilia & Michele are warm, caring hosts, and they can really cook. Dinner under the stars is something I highly recommend, so let them prepare a meal for you at least once. The whole place feels full of peace and joy. I slept wonderfully and woke up to a lovely homemade breakfast, feeling refreshed and happy. Leaving was genuinely difficult, and I hope to return soon.
