Altamer Resort

The privacy at Altamer is hard to match, and its beachfront setting is breathtaking. The architecture is beautiful, every detail feels carefully chosen, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond. We've stayed around the Caribbean and still haven't found anything comparable. We can't wait to return.

What made our stay at Altamer so special was the combination of villa privacy with hotel-level service that felt much more personal. The architecture, fine art, and lovely appointments made the place both serene and dramatic. Moira, the ultimate majordomo, took meticulous care of our family, arranging everything from special restaurant introductions to finding a boat for a surprise engagement event with only an hour's notice. The chef was astonishing, with every meal better than the last, especially the sushi, desserts, and lamb chops. Anguilla is our special place, and Altamer is the best of it. Our stay was wonderful in every respect.

Antilles Pearl gave our group of five couples an awesome trip in April 2022. The house sits on a secluded beach, and although Anguilla's beaches are public, I barely saw anyone pass in front. A reef sits directly offshore, so entering the water means walking a little down the beach, but it also makes for good snorkeling. The four guest rooms are somewhat small, though each has a king bed and we hardly spent time inside them. The principal suite is huge. Ray helped enormously with the booking and later changes, while Moira handled the trip details from our arrival through departure. Lavon, Perry, and the entire house staff were fantastic. It's beautiful, quiet, and safe, with plenty to do besides the pool, though a jeep is needed to get around. Rosie can arrange one. I highly recommend Antilles Pearl.

I had an incredible birthday staycation at Antilles Pearl, the oceanfront property within the iconic Altamer Resort. The experience was luxurious, friendly, and wonderfully relaxing, with nothing to fault in the service, amenities, or overall stay. A perfect vacation, and huge thanks to the incredible team for making it feel so special.
