The standout for me was Tony. He treated us like family, sorted things out quickly, and even called us at night after the freak weather on the mountain to check that we’d made it back safely. That kind of personal care made a real difference. Ask for him when you arrive. We tipped well, and they went out of their way for us. The good feeling went both ways, and we left in a great mood for the hike ahead. Would I return? Absolutely, 100% yes. The hotel’s right by the hike, and the renovated rooms were warm and comfortable, with fresh showers, smart TVs, and WiFi over 60 Mbps. Breakfast is a proper spread, so eat well before setting out. For dinner, the antipasti for two or four is a good start, then choose a main or meat to go with it. The food was delicious. We found the restaurant liveliest and the food freshest around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, when people were arriving in the area. Dinner was still tasty, but during the off season there were fewer staff for the guests, so the experience wasn’t quite the same. That makes sense as the season winds down.

A nice stay. The room had enough space, and the bed was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the big TVs and paid channels showing professional football. The menu is fairly basic, but both the trout and liver were good, and the service was pretty good overall.

The rooms were really nice, everything was clean, and the food was delicious. Everyone working there was so welcoming and the service was incredible. Some areas are still being renovated, but they seem to have taken feedback on board and improved the hotel. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

The location is fantastic, but the food we had was disgusting, poor quality, and overpriced. The waitress was quite rude too. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. At most, you could stop for a coffee.
