Mimani Hotel

We liked nearly everything here. The hotel was very clean throughout, the personnel were gentle and kind, especially Mirella, and the building, garden, breakfast, mattresses, and room were all very good. Room 107 had a balcony with a view. The facilities felt new and useful, including coffee, a refrigerator, many sockets, and good air condition. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but there were still many choices. WiFi was good, and parking was available behind the hotel, even one car behind another, or safely just outside the fence. The location is only 10 minutes from the centre, mostly through an interesting and safe pedestrian area, and the neighborhood was very quiet. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor, but that didn’t bother us. The carpet on the stairs could perhaps become slippery, though it was nothing serious.

The old town is about a 10-minute walk away, which makes the location convenient. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was very good too, with some local dishes.

The host was kind and breakfast was delicious, but the room and booking details were frustrating. It was advertised as having a view, and the photos suggested something beautiful outside the window. In fact, the “view” was only a picture on the wall, which felt very misleading. We also later learned that an additional commission fee had to be paid through the owner, raising the total cost significantly. That felt like a scam. There was another problem at night, a nearby rooster woke us at around 5 a.m. every morning, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to rest. It’s a decent hotel in some ways, but don’t expect a real view.

A genuinely brilliant hotel. They were friendly and flexible when we arrived at the last minute, and the room was exceptionally clean and well finished for the price. Breakfast had a very nice spread, and there was secure parking for motorbikes too.
