The highlight of my time in Berat was the river rafting experience arranged by the owner, and I would definitely come back for it. Maya Hostel is exceptionally well run, with friendly, kind, and polite owners and staff. Its central location, pleasant layout, and clean, comfortable rooms make it a great budget option. The rooms are very affordable, too. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Berat.

The staff at Maya hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. They arrange different tours and day trips and gave us useful advice about the area. Also, don't miss breakfast!

Maya Hostel was the best hostel I stayed in during my trip through the Balkans. The hosts were incredible, the beds comfortable, and the whole place cozy and clean. They also provide free breakfast. I loved being there and really didn't want to leave.

I found Maya Hostel by chance on a rainy day, and it turned out to be a wonderfully welcoming place. The relaxed, cozy atmosphere made me forget about the weather almost immediately. The staff were friendly, made sure I had what I needed, and gave helpful suggestions for hidden gems and local experiences around Berat. The rooms were clean and well equipped, while the common areas worked well for meeting people or simply unwinding. Breakfast was fresh, filling, and varied, a great start to the day. The central location was convenient for exploring but still peaceful. Maya Hostel felt like much more than somewhere to sleep. It was a comfortable home away from home where I could recharge. Shoutout to Sister Courtney.
