Being across the river keeps the hotel away from traffic and bar noise, while the centre is still only a two-minute walk away. There is free parking, and the basic local-style accommodation is well maintained and air conditioned. The staff were friendly, though they didn't offer extra advice or help with our luggage. Breakfast is cooked to order, so it can feel slow and tedious, but the quality and choice were excellent. There is no longer a restaurant on site, only a wine bar.

Wine Bar Muzaka is a memorable place to spend an evening, especially with friends and a cocktail overlooking Mangalem by night. The candlelit atmosphere felt warm and cozy, and the service was exceptional. The cocktails were refreshing and beautifully made, particularly the bright blue one. This is more than just a place for drinks, with history, charm, and a view that stays with you. If you're in Berat, it's worth stopping by.

Muzaka provided a delightful dining and breakfast experience. The food was outstanding, and the staff were polite, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. Marleo and Bruno deserve special mention because their excellent service and friendliness made the visit especially memorable. I highly recommend Muzaka for delicious food and superb service.

We had a great time at the Muzaka wine bar and sampled several local and Italian wines. The Italian Costago wine was our favorite. I would recommend it 100%.

The portions are generous, the prices are affordable, and everything we tried was delicious. On top of that, the staff were exceptionally friendly. It’s such a charming, beautiful restaurant, and a refreshing change from upscale places that serve tiny portions. I’ll definitely come back to this gem.
