The beds were the most uncomfortable we tried anywhere in the Balkans, and the owner was grumpy. The kitchen furniture was broken, the bathroom had no shower curtain, and the outer door and property door did not lock, so guests are left at their own risk. It isn't worth staying there, even at a low price. WiFi worked reasonably well, the kitchen had basic supplies, and the property had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and one bathroom. There are better options in Berat.
This is a clean, no frills place near the centre of Berat. The bed was comfortable, the location was excellent, and all the attractions were walkable. The owner was nice and responded quickly to questions.
The owner was really grumpy, and he cancelled the reservation in Booking to avoid receiving a bad review there. Be careful about that. There was no AC and the equipment was poor. We found much better options in Berat. This was the worst hostel of our Balkan trip, so don't go here.
This was a clean, pleasant, comfortable place in the historic part of the city. The heating came from an electric device, so it wasn't the warmest, but it was fine for me.
A great spot just a short distance from the center.
