Adria Palace Durres Hotel

The sea view and clean beach were the best parts of the location, with activities, shops, and restaurants nearby. The hotel has elegant interiors, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional, and the overall service was good. Breakfast was only average and nothing special for me. I was also disappointed to find that the reservation didn’t include the indoor pool and sauna on the ground floor. Using them costs an additional €15 per day, although I’m not sure whether that is the hotel’s standard policy. Even so, the stay was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing.

I stayed there for more than 12 days and had a lot of fun. The service was always available, and the food was incredible, with something different and tasty each time. The indoor pool was very cool and clean. The area was quiet and close to the seaside. I recommend it to anyone staying in Durres. 10/10

The accommodation itself was good, but dinner was a very disappointing part of the stay. Nobody offered me a menu or asked what I wanted, and the meal I received was extremely poor quality. The staff service felt careless and disrespectful. I’d recommend the hotel only for the rooms, and would strongly suggest choosing breakfast instead of the dinner package.

The hotel looks attractive and the rooms are cosy, but the service and food were a letdown. Breakfast had very few choices, with everything dry and cold, even though there was plenty of space for a better spread. Service was slow because one person seemed to be handling the desk, making coffee, and waiting tables. Our first room had weak water pressure in both the sink and shower. The sink water was cold and the shower was only lukewarm. Some slabs were also missing or broken. We reported everything and asked to move rooms, and staff initially agreed. After breakfast, they said the change was no longer possible. A frustrated staff member then entered our room to repair the slabs. When I questioned why they had come in without us present, the staff argued that this was normal for them and other hotels. The room was eventually changed, and the replacement was much better. The hotel is nice to look at and good for pictures, but the customer service was poor. For a hotel hosting so many tourists, I expected hot food and a much wider selection.
