The hotel is spotless, and it smells lovely everywhere, even in the toilets. The rooms are decent, the air conditioning works, there’s plenty of wardrobe space, and cleaners came every morning. Breakfast was plentiful, with the usual Albanian options, and the open kitchen was very clean. The beach is beautiful and only a few steps away. The water stays shallow a long way out, which is great for kids. The on-site pool is different, though, it’s two metres deep with no shallow section, so it isn’t child-friendly. Bar staff were very friendly.

The location was amazing, right on the beach with free sunbeds and an umbrella, and there are shops, bars, restaurants, and the port nearby. The views are great. Reception staff were great too, and the bar staff were really nice and hardworking. The room was a good size and had a fridge. I reported a small issue on WhatsApp, got a reply in two minutes, and it was fixed straight away. The pool is a good size, but it’s 2.2m deep all the way, so it’s only for swimmers. Better than I expected. I’ll come back.

The pool and private beach were the highlights, great places to unwind, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Breakfast was fresh every day with a good variety. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. Vivas Hotel is right by the beach, so the views are lovely. I had a really nice stay in Durrës, and it seems like a good fit whether you’re traveling with friends or family. I’d recommend it and would happily return.

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Vivas. Luciano was always smiling and happy to help, and his service was exceptional. The reception could respond to WhatsApp messages faster so guests don’t have to go downstairs every time they need something. For me, it’s a four-star stay and well worth recommending.

My room was immaculate, and the cleaning staff kept it that way throughout my stay. The whole place was so clean, and the staff were amazing, always there to help. It was my first time in Albania, and this hotel made me feel at home. Highly recommend. Finn from England 👍
