Hotel Leonardo

The staff were great and spoke enough English that communication was easy. The snack setup could use work: we arrived 15 minutes after it opened and there was hardly anything left. The beachside outdoor shower was broken, so we tracked sand into our room, though housekeeping vacuumed it regularly. The hotel itself was lovely, and I’d like to come back.

The pool was great, and most of the staff were kind. The hotel is close to the beach, but a room facing the highway gets a lot of noise. Our terrace door was broken and barely kept the street noise out. We asked to change rooms and were told they’d look into it, but nothing came of it. Food was fine, if not especially good. Towels were changed daily, though cleanliness overall could be better.

My daughter had a great time playing with Zuzanna, one of the hotel animators. The bar staff were wonderful too, especially Smerald, who was helpful and spoke fluent English. WiFi even reached the beach. We spent a week there, and our room was nice and cleaned every day. The food tasted very good, but there wasn’t much choice.

I’ve stayed at Leonardo hotel three times now. It’s a lovely, clean place with friendly staff, tasty food, a very good pool, and a beach bar. I’d recommend it.
