Hotel Palorto

Breakfast was a great start to each day, with a nice choice of bread, fruit, and eggs. Nothing fancy, just fresh and satisfying before heading out to explore. The rooms were spotless, fresh, and comfortable, and it was clear the property is carefully maintained. From the minute I arrived, the staff were wonderfully welcoming. They went out of their way to make things easy and helped with parking, which was a relief after a long drive.

The steep old town street is part of the setting, and the hotel has plenty of character. My room was deluxe, and breakfast was served as a full meal rather than a buffet. The staff were super friendly. Don’t miss Albania’s tiniest book store across the street!

We stayed just one night and really liked this little family-run hotel. The whole family was lovely, and breakfast was served individually in the courtyard. Our room was a good size, while the bathrooms are small, which makes sense in this old house that’s been modernized as a hotel. We had a huge deck with a nice castle view, and some other rooms have small patios. The street was quiet. The location was fabulous, just a couple of streets from the Old Bazaar and near the Ottoman Skenduli House and the Ethnographic Museum.

I booked at the last minute and got perfect communication right away. The owners were so kind and helpful, and the room was amazing and clean, with a castle view. The location is great, just a quick walk to the bazaar, castle, and shops. They offer laundry service too, and my clothes came back clean and folded the next morning. Definitely recommend!
