For an old city with older places that can lack modern essentials and have bad smells, this hotel felt new and super clean. The price was moderate, and the view from the big balcony was beautiful. A couple of small things kept it from being perfect: the TV and refrigerator sockets didn’t work, so we couldn’t plug them in, and the shower converter was hard to handle and keep steady. Apart from that, everything was comfortable and great. It’s hard to find rooms and service this good.

We’d stopped in the village for a quick pick-me-up, and the coffee and eggs were just what we needed. Anela looked after us warmly and kindly. She was surprised we came from Bermuda and India, and did her best to communicate in English. Service was quick. This is a review of the hotel restaurant.

The restaurant downstairs serves tasty food at reasonable prices all day, and there’s free parking right beside the hotel. Rooms feel a little old, but they’re clean. The staff are friendly, though they don’t speak English. You can reach the manager or owner by phone to discuss the price.

The staff were really friendly, and the place was cheap and clean. It’s not too far from the city centre. English was a bit hard, but we found ways to communicate.
