The rain was heavy during our visit, but we absolutely loved staying at Hotel Sarajet. We were given a large suite that was charming, clean, and comfortable. It's a short walk uphill to the Old Town, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby where locals eat and drink. David, the manager, was superb and happy to help with anything. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, too. Thanks to the Owner for accommodating our plan to leave a day early. Hotel Sarajet 1821 is great value for money.

For the service you get, the price is very reasonable. The staff were so friendly and attentive, always checking whether we needed anything, and the excellent breakfast came with delicious coffee. They even let us have more than one cup for the first time! Our small, cozy room was beautifully looked after and had an amazing view. Such a great stay, an easy ten out of ten.

The hosts make you feel very welcome, and the rooms are cozy with plenty of character. Sarajet is a lovely traditional hotel right in the heart of Gjirokastra, with a stunning view over the stone city. A great place to enjoy the charm of Gjirokastra.

They've done a really unique job turning an old cobblestone house into a boutique style bed and breakfast. The use of space and resources is very smart. It's in a quiet neighbourhood close to central Gjirokastra.

The hotel feels almost brand new, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was served in extraordinary scenery, and the staff were very helpful. It's on a quiet side street with a beautiful window view, just a few steps from Gjiro's main attractions. There's enough free parking for every guest. Recommended for short or long stays.
