The clean, elegant spaces at Henry Resort & Spa make it feel peaceful and welcoming near the seaside. Rooms are spacious and carefully designed, while the pool and spa offer a calm place to relax or spend time with family. The staff are attentive and professional, making the stay smooth and comfortable. A strong choice in Golem for a quiet resort setting.

The dining staff were welcoming and kind, and there was a wide choice of food. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay was very disappointing. When we arrived late at night, the receptionist was unwelcoming, showed us nothing, and only said there might be water in the room. That isn’t what you expect from a five star hotel. On the final day, we were told someone had complained about our child making noise in reception and the dining room, but our children were with us and had not made any noise. Other guests were smoking and being loud near reception without any issue, which felt discriminatory and made us leave. Activities seemed to be only for French nationalities. The hot tub did not work, there were no massages or salt therapy, and the very deep swimming pools had no life guards. Reception staff were hard to approach and treated us as if we weren’t guests. The service was very poor.

The pool area was lovely, although it was so hot and humid that it was hard to sit there and relax for long. The beach is close, and we had a good family weekend overall. The hotel should include tea, coffee, and a kettle for a 5 star property, plus at least 1 complementary bottle of water. We arrived just after 9pm with nothing open, so there was no water or tea in the room. We also ate at a nearby hotel restaurant, Khajid i think, where the steak was amazing and cheap at £12. The spa facility was really nice.

The food was out of this world, the drinks were nice, and the pools were lovely. The local beach was absolutely stunning, and with excursions available it’s a nice place for families, children, and couples. We had some problems but worked around them. The hotel wasn’t fully disabled friendly, and although the restaurant and bar staff were very helpful, the room had a broken door lock and the air-conditioning didn’t work. I was also disappointed that no spa treatments were available.
