Hotel Lyden

The breakfast was a weak point, with the same lackluster buffet and no coffee one day. The following day the coffee was barely warm. The room was fairly clean but had holes in the plaster, and the thin walls meant I could hear conversations next door. There was no shower curtain either, so the bathroom floor got wet. The stay was also expensive compared with other places I’ve used in Albania. Their credit card machine was "broken", which meant I had to get cash from the boardwalk. They struggled to find my reservation and searched through email on their phones while arguing, which didn’t feel professional. The English-speaking receptionist was helpful once I was checked in, but I wouldn’t stay at the Lyden again.
