Kastrati Hotel

The location is on the first coastline, and with the all inclusive option we could use the facilities and restaurant at the Royal G Max 5 star hotel for a lower price. Our rooms were clean and the service was good. The furniture and doors need some renovation or replacement, but for a 3 star hotel the condition is bearable.

The biggest problem was the staff. They came across as very rude and seemed more focused on making money during one summer than on dealing properly with customers. The pool was also in poor condition. It looked outdated and was not cleaned regularly, with visible dirt in the water. Some filters appeared to be broken. After a child had an accident in the pool, they removed it but did not change the water, as if nothing had happened. The upstairs floor was dangerously slippery too, and someone jumping could easily fall badly. The restaurant kept bringing different food from what we ordered. Pizza arrived within a minute because, apparently, another customer had changed their mind. I ordered seafood risotto and received spaghetti instead, then the waiter asked whether I would not eat it. We ordered wedges, meaning oven chips, but got regular chips, which disappointed the children. I was afraid to send anything back because I did not know what might happen to it, so we ate whatever reached the table and never returned to the restaurant.

We spent a week here with the family and found it clean and peaceful. A really nice place to stay, and I’d recommend it 10/10.

It’s clean, quiet, and suitable for children. The only thing keeping it from five stars for me is the limited food variety. I’d like to see more choices.
