The poor communication and lack of basic cleaning made our three-night stay very uncomfortable at Pishat e Buta. Towels and sheets were never changed, even after I politely asked the lady owner for fresh ones. She answered arrogantly and seemed uninterested in our comfort. After the room was finally cleaned on the third day, I found a handwritten note saying something like, “keep the room clean yourself, and then everything will be fine.” That felt deeply disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend Pishat e Buta to anyone wanting a welcoming, relaxing stay in Durrës.

The room problems started with room 102, where the air conditioning did not work and there was a rotten, moldy smell. WiFi was available only around reception, and the rooms were not cleaned daily as promised. Breakfast consisted of just a few items, and they were cold. When we asked for fresh towels, the owner said it was not their job, while the cleaning lady refused because she was not wearing work clothes. Even children walking through the park may get yelled at by the older man there. Be prepared to argue with the staff, and inspect the room before paying.

The hotel looked nothing like the photos. Everything smelled rotten and dirty 🤮, and the bed sheets had not been changed. I had no backup plan when I arrived, so I ended up staying the required minimum of three days. I can’t recommend this hotel under any circumstances. 🤮

The service was a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against staying here. The hotel looked nothing like its photos, while the whole place smelled rotten and dirty 🤮.
