Jon and his family were sweet and helpful, and the rooms were impeccable for this price range. Honestly, if someone wants to complain at this price, something is seriously wrong with them. The beautiful dogs were a big bonus too, they loved cuddling and playing with us.

Finding the place was awful, the parking was terrible, and the owner was dishonest. We booked three nights on booking.com weeks ahead, but when we arrived, he said our room wasn't available and made us stay in the neighboring building, even though its room and view were worse. We weren't told until checkout that the other building belonged to a different business. That explained why he had canceled our booking.com reservation without telling us and claimed we were a no-show. Since the booking was non-cancelable, we might have been charged for not appearing, in addition to the cash payment he wanted at checkout. Fortunately, booking.com confirmed by phone that the owner had canceled it, so we weren't charged. He then demanded more money because the neighboring accommodation had higher rates. This had never been mentioned at check-in, and we would not have accepted it. When we explained that we hadn't asked to change places and that he had forced the change, he refused to listen and seemed threatening when we wouldn't give in. Luckily, the owner of the neighboring property was there and was kind, so Jon Room's owner finally dropped it. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Our hosts at Jon Rooms, also known as ‘Villa Blu’, were incredibly kind and accommodating, and we enjoyed our stay at the affordable price. The location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach, with a stunning seafront view from the property. Be aware that getting there involves climbing several steep flights of stairs. Anyone with mobility issues may want to choose another option to avoid that difficulty.

The terrace view over the sea was the best part, and the beach is very close by. We stayed comfortably here for a fair price, with all the basic things provided, and the owners were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast can be added for an extra charge. Getting there involves a long climb up stairs, though the owner showed us a small shortcut. Even with that, there are still plenty of steps, especially tiring in hot weather, so it would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Also, the place may appear under different names: look for "Vila Blu" rather than "Jon Rooms", and some sites call it "Jon Impeks." We were confused at first, but they're all the same place. The stairs were worth it for that view, and we still had a pleasant stay.
