We stayed three nights in the middle of October. Shops and restaurants were only a couple of minutes away on foot, and parking was free and easy to reach. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The apartment had a big terrace about 20 metres from the sea, with a lovely view over the bay of Ksamil. It was very clean and had most of what you’d expect from an Arbnb, though it’s not a luxury place and could use some updating. For the price, it was reasonable value.

The room was full of ants, including on the floor, furniture, balcony, and even inside the fridge. The cleaning lady swept them up, but more kept appearing. We couldn’t bring ourselves to sleep there, so we asked the landlord to refund us so we could find another place. He refused, saying it was too late to rent the room to someone else. He showed no understanding of our situation or of his responsibility to provide a suitable room. In the end, we gave up the room and the money for the first night, and got back only the amount for the second night. I wonder whether he’d react the same way if there were a broken pipe or the apartment burned down. I just don’t understand offering such poor service. It’s a very shortsighted approach. We had booked the room for two nights.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay. The sea view was lovely, everything was very clean, and we had all we needed. Customer service was great, and the location was perfect, with a great beach just 30 seconds away. If I’m in ksamil again, I’d choose this place first :D
