Ionian Hotel

The staff deserve a special mention. They were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with our requests, and we were very happy with the stay overall. The pool and balcony were peaceful places to unwind despite how noisy Ksamil can be, and having a mini supermarket just across the street was handy. The hotel was very clean and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was abundant, but the quality felt average to low, and below what I expected for the price after reading so many positive reviews. The eggs were badly overcooked. The sandwich press was half broken and could burn you if you weren’t careful. Other guests used it to heat sausages, so toast came out with a strong sausage taste. I ended up skipping toast. We might happily return, but if food quality matters to you, I’d adjust expectations.

We stayed five nights and found the hotel clean, with a really nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel can arrange things like taxis and tours. Breakfast had lots of options, and they kept everything topped up. The clean pool had plenty of sunbeds too. The first beach is about a five-minute walk away. We had a great experience, and I’d recommend it.

The place has a fresh, modern look, and the staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel welcome. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, convenient base. It’s among the best places I’ve stayed.

We had a pleasant stay, helped by kind, helpful management and spacious, clean rooms with a very nice bathroom. For a three-star hotel, it’s great for the price. Breakfast had a good mix of sweet and savory food. The parking garage below is useful, though it can feel a little tight. Ksamil is small, so just about everything, including most beach clubs, is roughly a five-minute walk. The hotel is a little away from the busiest part, which was a relief in the evenings. We could still hear music from other beach clubs at night, but it was much fainter than it might have been elsewhere.
