Vila Cerca De Mar

The photos bore no resemblance to what we found. We booked a room with a living area and toilet, but the toilet was only 1.3x1.3m, with a shower head fixed to the wall serving as the “bath” and a mop beside it for cleaning up after every shower. The “living” space had two couches facing each other just 50cm apart. They could each turn into beds, but there wasn’t room to open either one. This felt like a three-story building without basic facilities or safety concerns, not a hotel or guesthouse. I wouldn’t come here for even a half-decent vacation. It’s just a fraud.

Arta, who runs the apartments, was so nice and welcoming. The place is right across from the beach, with an amazing sunset. We definitely recommend staying here!

The lady at reception was helpful and very polite, and the place was spotless and well looked after. They cleaned every day and replaced the towels on day three. Our room was a good size, with a kitchen area and somewhere to sit. The sunset view was beautiful, and we left very happy. Ksmail itself wasn’t really for me, but this was a great base: very central, a 2-3 minute walk from the beaches, and within walking distance of lots of nice restaurants. The street does get lively, and you can hear people talking late at night. We slept comfortably with the balcony door shut and the AC on, though, so it wasn’t a problem. We definitely recommend it.

The owners were incredibly kind and clearly cared about their guests’ well-being. We stayed during peak season, and the place is directly behind the main beach, so it’s very well placed for everything people come to Ksamil to do. Nearby restaurants serve really good food, and the room and its amenities work well for families with children. Thank you!
