We chose this hotel and paid for it because we wanted a pool, but we couldn't really relax there. The pool is at the neighbours' place, where breakfast is served too. Breakfast was simple but fine, and the pool itself was lovely and clean. Still, for both mornings we were there, four of the only sunbeds in the sun had towels on them from 8 a.m., while the people who'd claimed them were nowhere around. The music was quite loud all day, and drinks at the bar were very expensive. Our room, once we moved, was super clean, with slightly soft beds, and we had no complaints about it. The problem was how the booking was handled. We'd booked a 30 m³ room with a balcony through Booking.com, but were put in small room 106, tucked out of the way, with a vague little terrace a metre wide in a dark alley and no view at all. We were offered a bigger room for €6 more per night and accepted. It would have been better to see clearer photos before booking. Finding another review describing the same experience left us with a nasty aftertaste.

It wasn't a pleasant way to start our stay in Ksamil. We booked a 30-square-metre room with a balcony through Booking.com, but arrived to find ourselves in a 12-square-metre back room without one. After a lot of effort, we got a different room, but at a higher price. When we objected to the original room, we were told not to contact Booking.com about cancelling it because they would handle that themselves.

The apartments were cleaned every day and the towels were changed. The owner was welcoming and very kind, and the service at the hotel was first-class. For the pool and breakfast, though, you have to go to another place, Villa Ruci, and the quality there was definitely below par. Breakfast was identical every day, with Martadella and industrial-grade juices.

The owner was friendly and accommodating, and we could upgrade to larger rooms for a small extra fee without any trouble. Our rooms were nice, clean, and spacious, with daily cleaning, a fridge, air conditioning, and a TV. The beach and city centre are fairly close. Breakfast is across the street at the hotel, tasty but nothing special, and there's a swimming pool too.
