Elite Pogradec

The room was modern and very clean, and the hotel has a superb geographical position. Unfortunately, the staff were unsmiling, the services weren’t very practical, and breakfast was disappointing. One day there were pancakes, while another day offered very little choice.

I chose this hotel again after staying here before, and the overall experience was still pleasant. Reception staff were incredibly kind and understanding. The room, however, could have been cleaned more thoroughly, nothing serious, but noticeable. Breakfast also needs more variety, and even fresh juice would help, though perhaps that will improve once high season begins. The side balcony provided a stunning lake view despite the lack of front-facing balconies. The hotel is steps from the water, near the city center, and surrounded by good restaurants, so it’s very convenient for exploring. For the price, it offers solid value.

The location is good and the place is nice. Breakfast was adequate, though nothing special. We managed to park on the street right outside, but felt lucky to find a space.

Hotel Elite is in a prime spot on the promenade, just steps from Lake Ohrid and the city’s best dining. The rooms are spacious, breakfast is great, and the attentive staff make it a dependable, relaxing choice for all kinds of travelers. For the best morning view, ask for an upper-floor room facing the lake, where you can see the morning light on the water.
