Hotel Olympia Touristic Village

This was one of our worst hotel experiences, and I wouldn’t recommend the place. When we arrived around 7 p.m., we upgraded from breakfast only to all-inclusive, but staff charged us the full package price for that day even though only dinner remained. We paid, but it was a bad start. Housekeeping was also unacceptable. Rooms were cleaned only every two days and the cleaning was superficial. On our final day, we saw that the sheets hadn’t been changed at all, the bed had merely been tidied for the next guests. That felt very unhygienic for a supposed four-star hotel. At checkout, our all-inclusive wristbands were cut off at 10 a.m., leaving us without food, drinks, or the bar for the rest of the day, although we could still use the pool and beach. This made no sense after paying for the full package. When we raised the issue, staff were rude and dismissive and wouldn’t let us finish speaking. The food was cold, repetitive, and tasted as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for hours. Drinks were tightly controlled too, with staff filling tiny cups instead of letting guests pour their own water or soda. Finally, the air conditioner didn’t work and the room smelled bad throughout our stay. It was not worth the money or a true four-star experience.

The all-inclusive package wasn’t worth €120 per night. Food choices were limited and repeated every day, and coffee cost extra despite being included in the package. Wi-Fi was awful throughout the hotel. There wasn’t even one place with a stable connection, and nobody provided any help. Overall, I expected much more for the price.

The pool surroundings were dangerously slippery, and a fall could easily result in hitting your head. Beach towels were another issue, as staff said providing them wasn’t their obligation and that giving them was a favor. Although I booked all-inclusive, water was available only until 10 PM, so after that you had to bring your own. Drinks came from 2-liter bottles at the bar, meaning even for a sip of water you had to leave the beach and cross a busy road, which felt especially dangerous with children. In my opinion, paying €130 per night without drinking water in the room is unacceptable. There was also confusion over our reservation. On WhatsApp I had clearly written “... the 11th and 12th,” but reception said we had booked only one night, claiming that “and” meant leaving on the second day. Finally, I noticed that customers who leave negative reviews receive extremely rude and unprofessional responses.

Don’t trust the Instagram posts, and stay away from this hotel. Management seemed arrogant, and after payment, asking for anything felt unwelcome. The all-inclusive package still required payment for drinks at the beach bar. The included filter coffee was undrinkable, while normal coffee cost extra. Food variety was limited, the drinks menu was small, and everything else had to be paid for. Nobody explained these details before check-in, so hidden costs should be expected.
