Central Boutique Hostel

This is a solid little hostel in a quiet spot, while still being close to everything, including the monastery, statues, and beaches. Because it isn’t directly on a busy street, nights are peaceful and there isn’t much walking to do. The owner is a lovely woman who serves breakfast every morning and creates a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are very clean, with curtains and outlets, and the kitchen is decent too, with plenty of counter space and some equipment. Nothing bad stood out during my stay.

The staff were the real highlight at Central Boutique Hostel. They were kind, attentive, and available whenever we needed help, arranged a taxi at a great price, and were wonderful with our kids. We felt cared for throughout the stay. The hostel is comfortable and right in the center, close to everything, and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it for a central place with genuinely warm hospitality.

Central Boutique Hostel was a comfortable base for exploring. It’s close to the main pier and popular shops, with the mosque about 10 minutes away, and the main roads made trips to Ksamil and the Blue Eye straightforward. Parking for our rental car was a bit inconvenient, though manageable, and the location was easy to enjoy on foot. There was a small language barrier since I only speak English, but it caused no real issue. Breakfast was basic but fair for the price, while the rooms, bedding, and overall cleanliness were excellent. The other guests were friendly too, which added to the atmosphere. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The rooms and beds were thoughtfully set up with curtains, bed lights, and chargers. Towels, clean sheets, warm blankets, and lockers with keys were provided, and the bathrooms were clean with hot showers. The hostel was quiet and peaceful throughout January, with friendly staff and free breakfast. Breakfast included bread, hard boiled eggs, lunch meat, cheese, cereal, juice, milk, butter, and coffee. They let me check in at 8 a.m. and even offered breakfast, though I declined because I wanted to sleep after my long journey. Early entry was easy, as the building door stays open when reception isn’t manned before 8 a.m. The main issue in winter is the lobby. Its large glass windows make it cold, and because people avoid hanging out there, the heat is kept off to conserve electricity. The room heater makes the bedrooms pretty toasty, though, and you can ask them to turn on the heat in the main area.
