The smooth, efficient service from check-in to check-out made my stay at Hotel Diamond Sarande a great one. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile, and made us feel cared for throughout. They were happy to assist or share local recommendations. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail really set the hotel apart. I highly recommend it for great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Hotel Diamond was a very good experience for us. We stayed three nights, and it was comfortable. Our ocean view was lovely to wake up to, and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace day and night. The staff were so sweet and helpful, especially Marin. He had great recommendations, checked that we were doing okay, and brought positive energy to the stay. It's always nice to meet a friendly, helpful face while traveling. They brought fresh towels every day and made sure the room was cleaned, which we really appreciated. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear quite a lot. It wasn't busy when we went, and people were respectful at night, so it didn't bother us, but light sleepers or anyone with a child should know. Restaurants, bars, and the beach are an easy walk away, and the market and scooter rental are easy to get to.

The reception staff were friendly, and the location is central, though it's a very busy area and made sleeping at night challenging. We arrived to a dirty room. The AC stayed broken for our whole stay, and during “cleaning” they only replaced towels, never the bed sheets or cups. Electricity in the apartment only works with the key inserted, so the mini fridge is pointless when you're out. I heard other customers complain about room amenities too, so this didn't seem like a one-off. After we complained, they offered a room that wasn't comparable. We ended up accepting a refund of just 10% of the full amount, on the condition that we flag a no-show to booking.com, to avoid putting ourselves through more distress.

The affordable room was clean and had a lovely balcony looking out to sea. Diamond Boutique Hotel in Sarandë is close to the water and just a quick walk from the city center. There's also a dental clinic nearby if you're getting work done. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even arranging taxi pickup and drop-off for a small extra fee. I'd definitely stay again.

SCAM ALERT: The hotel still hasn't returned my 210 Euros, even after four months. Booking.com said they couldn't do anything about it. Be careful, this hotel is a SCAM!
