Hotel Villa Margarit

Petro deserves a special thank you for making us feel at home. The staff were all friendly and incredibly helpful. Our room was large and very clean, the bed was so comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Hotel Villa Margarit is right in the heart of Saranda, handy for the port, city beach, and bus stop. A great place for a vacation, and I'd definitely return.

We found this family-run hotel to be great value, spotless, and modern, with lovely views from the rooms. The owner was friendly and helpful, and knew the area well, including good restaurants, transport, and attractions. We'd happily stay again.

Pualo was a wonderful host, always there when we needed beach towels, breakfast, local tips, or anything else. The rooms were lovely and the food was great. It's right on the coast in the center, so there's some noise, though it doesn't last all night and the place is still quiet enough to stay.

The room was lovely and the location is convenient, just a four-minute walk to the port and near the center. There are stairs up to the rooms and no lift. The bathroom was less impressive: nowhere to put toiletries in the shower, and no spare toilet roll. When we tried to get another, there was nobody at reception. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee, and breakfast was a fixed plate with meat, without anyone checking if that suited us. The balcony door didn't close all the way, so some noise came in from the restaurants outside. It didn't bother us too much, though. One of the nicest-looking hotels in town.
