Mi Casa feels like a home away from home, with plenty of room to spread out and a big, well-used kitchen. The beds and pillows are comfy, the sheets are clean, and the blackout curtains do a great job. Just remember it's still a hostel, so earplugs help with the snoring and early starters. The staff and volunteers are lovely. Aresa was especially kind and flexible when my plans kept changing, and the hostel has connections to lots of good local tours. The curly-haired local guy working there also patiently answered my many questions. There's a warm, homely feel to the whole place.

There are bikes to rent for 5 euros a day, which makes it easy to see everything you want around shkodër. The hostel also has a fully equipped kitchen and a shared area with lots of instruments and games. I had a very nice stay, and the staff were friendly and kind. I'd definitely recommend it if you're planning a trip to shkodër.

Alma, the owner, has clearly put a lot of care into the place, and everything feels thoughtfully run. Edi and Gjystina were wonderful hosts, always smiling, kind, and ready to help. They made me feel at home from the start, and I left feeling more like a friend than a guest. The three lovely dogs brought plenty of joy, and the entertaining, slightly crazy cat kept things interesting. With such a welcoming atmosphere and lots of small moments that made the stay special, I'd absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone after a friendly, memorable place to stay.

It's easy to get around from this hostel, and you can arrange bikes, bus bookings, and trips at reception. The hosts and volunteers are so enthusiastic that there's always something fun happening. It also has adorable dogs and a lap cat. The hostel has a historic feel, almost like a museum filled with memories and old artifacts. Fantastic place to stay in Shkoder, and I'd highly recommend it.

I spent three nights here and enjoyed every one. The building has lots of shared spaces and a big kitchen, and the welcoming volunteers and staff made it feel like home. The resident dogs and cats add to that feeling too. It's close to the bus stop from Tirana and the downtown pedestrian walkway. The castle is about an hour's walk away, with a flat route until you reach the foot of the mountain. I'd definitely stay again.
