Areela Boutique Hotel

I was really happy with my two-night stay. For $35 euros, I got a nice room, breakfast, and good-quality linen sheets, which matter a lot to me. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Thanks so much!

We stayed one night and found it a good choice for a short city break. Shops and restaurants are close by, the staff were lovely and helpful, and both the hotel and room were nicely decorated, clean, and tidy. Our room was on the first floor. There isn’t much of a view, since the hotel sits between buildings. The bathroom was quite small, and the shower had only a floor drain, no cubicle. After showering everything was wet, so walking in barefoot wasn’t really possible. Even so, we recommend the place.

I reserved two rooms through Booking.com. The listing said there was no prepayment and that I’d pay at the property, but the hotel charged the full amount two weeks before arrival. Our flights were cancelled, so we couldn’t make the trip. I cancelled for free with plenty of time before arrival, yet the hotel still hasn’t refunded what it charged, despite my sending many emails.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast included in our rate was tasty, and parking in the garage was free. It’s a stylish boutique hotel in a convenient location, just a short walk from the city center. Our room was simple and small, with barely enough room to put down suitcases. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was a real challenge. Since we stayed only one night, it was manageable.
