Studio Apartments 365

The apartment was clean, the staff were nice, and the accommodation was affordable. Getting around will mean taking a cab or other transport. I was honestly scared of the narrow, really steep stairs up to the loft-style bed. You have to pay to use the spa and pool, and guests can't go in from 16:00 to 20:00, though they do get a discount.

We thought Studio 365 was excellent value and would stay there again. Parking in Tirana can be stressful, so it was a relief that 365 Studios has its own fairly large parking area on nearby waste ground. The apartment was modern and attractive, with smart use of space that kept it from feeling cramped. The lounge and kitchen share one area, and the shower room is roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed, there was plenty of cupboard space, and the AC worked reliably. The beds are up a narrow, steep staircase. I understand why people raise concerns, but the stairs felt solid and had sturdy handrails. Just take extra care and don't use slippery footwear like socks. The apartments felt very secure, with a pin code at the main entrance, solid doors to each apartment, and plenty of CCTV. The area is decent. It's about a 30-35 minute walk to the city centre, or a taxi costs around 500-600 leke, about £5. We had some trouble finding the apartments because the Google Maps pin isn't very good and the road layout doesn't help. Searching for "365 Spa & Sports Centre" should get you closer to reception.

Marjo sent all the information we needed before arrival, quickly and efficiently. I never got to meet him because I was denied boarding for my flight, but he was kind and more than honest. I was meant to pay the full tariff, and he had no obligation to refund me, yet he returned the entire reservation payment without hesitation. The room design was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything needed to cook. There's free parking, a polite host, and lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores nearby. The location was hard to find and is quite far from the city center. The hotel occupies the ground floor of a residential building, with glass walls facing the street, so you have to keep the curtains closed or feel completely exposed. We had a duplex, but still felt short on space. The stairs inside the rooms are very narrow and feel dangerous to walk on. Going to the restroom at night, you could easily fall. The shower leaked, and basic hotel items were missing, like shower gel, shampoo, bathrobes, and complimentary water. There was no one at reception unless someone was checking in, so we felt left alone if we needed something. The Wi-Fi also worked poorly and was down for a full 24 hours.
