Chateau Linza Resort Hotel

Watch out at the restaurant. They charged me too much on two nights in a row, even after I’d confirmed the price 😂. The owner was no better. My feet stuck to the rugs, springtails were infesting the place, and the staff were mean.

The staff made the evening feel special, they were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Chateau Linza had a cozy, stylish atmosphere that balanced comfort with a bit of elegance. From start to finish, dinner was a fantastic experience.

The only person who treated us nicely was one of the serving girls. The manager stressed us out when we arrived, saying she couldn't find our booking even though we'd made it two weeks earlier. We were moved to a different room twice. I'd paid for a balcony and mountain view, but ended up in a tiny room without a view. We had to beg for cups and a kettle, and they refused. The balcony door didn't feel secure, so we worried someone could come in while we slept. Dogs and cats wandered around, drinking pool water, and the pool itself was so dirty. My booking didn't say I wouldn't be able to swim, but the manager still stopped us from using it. The restaurant manager was rude and mean. He saw us taking photos near the pool and spat into it on purpose, right there while we were nearby. Poor service. Don't go there unless you're willing to take the risk. Since I can't reply to you, ma'am, I'll say it here. Not everyone can be wrong about your service. I've read the reviews and they say the same thing about poor service. Yes, I did thank you for giving us a room, but you should make it clear on the site or elsewhere that people can't use Booking.com. That's not professional at all.

The hotel itself is great for the price, with a good pool. Our room was spacious, well maintained, and had a balcony with a lovely view. Breakfast was limited on some days when there were fewer guests. At lunch, the restaurant would try to add random items to the bill to push up the price.
